Lobuche East Peak (6,119 meters / 20,075 feet) is one of Nepal’s most popular trekking peaks, located near Mount Everest in the Khumbu region. It is classified as a trekking peak by the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), meaning it requires some technical climbing but is suitable for climbers with basic mountaineering experience.
Normal Itinerary :
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport, transfer to Hotel. Relax day.
Day 2: Katmandu, Relax day, equipment check and stay overnight in Hotel.
Day 3: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla 2.840m. Trek from Lukla to Phakding 2,700m (or
Monjo 2,835m) 4hrs, stay overnight at Lodge.
Day 4: Trek from Phakding or Monjo to Namche Bazar 3,440m 3hrs, stay overnight at
Lodge.
Day 5: Acclimatization Day; hike to surrounding hills, stay overnight at Lodge.
Day 6: Trek from Namche Bazar to Tengboche 3.860m or Debuche 3820m. 5hrs, stay
overnight at Lodge.
Day 7: Trek from Tengboche or Debuche to Dingbuche 4,410m. 5hrs, stay overnight at
Lodge.
Day 8: Acclimatization Day hiking till 5,000m.
Day 9: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche Base Camp 4,865m, 3-4hrs
Day 10: Trek from Lobuche Base Camp 4,865m to Lobuche High Camp 5,200m 4 hrs
overnight at camp.
Day 11:Climb from High Camp 5,200m to Lobuche Peak Summit 6,119m, Return to
Base Camp 7-8hrs overnight at Lodge.
Day 12:Reserve Summit day or Extra Acclimatization Day
Day 13:Trek from Lobuche Base Camp 4,865m to Pangbuche 5hrs, stay overnight at
Lodge.
